Nail polish of the week - Nails Inc Jermyn Street

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

Along with half of the UK, I secured a free Nails Inc nail polish which the News Of The World were giving away in their Sunday women's supplement magazine.

I chose Jermyn Street as I like the look of taupe taupe nail polish shade wanted a companion for Orly's Country Club Khaki which I really like and in comparison is a bit lighter.

This is the first time I've used a Nails Inc polish an I'm very impressed with the quality. It went on like a dream and was nice and shiny when it dried. I'm pleased with my choice, it kinda has a lilacy undertone to it when hit by direct sunlight and is quite an unusual colour.

What did you pick as your freebie shade?

I don't even remember what I did pick. Its been 2 weeks and haven't received anything yet!!!
They keep saying its because of the royal mail strike so I'll just have to keep on waiting... :(
But I love that color, I thought it was plain gray and didn't really want to pick it up.

My polish has only recently been dispatched and that's only the first one (I ordered one for myself and one for my mum). I hope they send both out, I can't wait to receive them. I ordered Dover Street (a dark blue) for myself and China Town (a bright pink) for my mum.

Nails Inc are my HG polish kids, I'm trying to build an exclusive collection of their stuff only.

Ooh that looks lovely on you, kind of a mix of taupe, grey and lilac - very unusual. I chose Hans Road as (apart from this taupe which I didn't think would suit my skintone) I already had similar colours to the ones that were available. I wasn't 100% sure I'd like it but thought it was worth trying for a quid and I'll probably just wear it on my toes if I'm not keen. Haven't received it yet but hopefully it'll arrive this week sometime x

Oooo the colour looks lovely. Mine arrived on Monday - China Town I ordered - bright pink, but a hint of purple to it, which shines when the light hits it. Very impressed with the quality too. :)

Such a pretty color! I love it! Its not what I would have chosen automatically cause I am drawn to pink... but seeing it on makes me like it better!! Good choice!!
