After rolling my eyes so far into the back of my head I almost gave myself a migraine, I resigned myself to having to wait until my next trip to NY where I'd just have to find the time to get to Target in NJ if I ever wanted to try these brushes out as I haven't found them anywhere in Manhattan (U.S Chicks please let me know where in Manhattan they are if they exist!) during previous visits.
So when I heard that Space NK had reduced the brushes to what should have been their correct pricing (in my opinion) in the first place, I was on the Space NK site in a flash! Unfortunately the blusher and powder brushes had sold out but I managed to get a few others.
After ordering them last Friday, they finally arrived today and this is what I ordered:
There's absolutely no point to this picture whatsoever, other than that I was attempting to be a bit creative - and failed!

On another note, I won't be ordering from Space NK in a hurry again ..£5 delivery charge? No thank you. Not even the free samples I received with the brushes can make me forget that charge in a hurry! If you can deal with the fact that the delivery charge costs more than some of the brushes left then check out Space NK and bag a few for yourself.
1. Synthetic Flat Top Blusher Brush – Use this blusher brush to perfectly apply blush to the apples of the cheeks.
2. Angled Contour Blusher – Fits perfectly into the contour of your cheeks for flawless definition.
3. Large Eye Shadow Brush – Perfect for delivering a wash of colour over the entire lid.
4. Crease Shadow Brush – This round tipped eye shadow brush is the perfect tool for detailing and using in the crease of your eye to create depth and contour.
5. Smudge Brush – Perfectly blend and smudge fine lines to create a flawlessly defined eye.
First impressions? I'm loving the feel of the flat top brush and I know I'll reach for this a lot when using my cream blushes. I'll reserve judgement on the others until I try them out properly, but I'm liking the look of the crease brush too.

19 beauty lovers have sumthin to say:
I heard Marlena over at MakeUpGeek talking about these a while ago. Can't believe the price difference though, we Brits get a ridiculously bad deal in comparison with the US. The crease shadow brush looks exactly like my GOSH round eye shadow brush, bar the handle shape and it's around £5 in Superdrug. The smudge brush looks good :)
Great post my love!
Im still waiting on my Space nk order and i ordered mine on the 7th so not happy!
Ive ordered 4 out of the 5 brushes youve got, but instead of the small smudge brush ive ordered the foundation brush instead! Hopefully they will be here soon! :)

@Kim - I refuse to pay OTT UK brushes when I know I can get them cheaper elsewhere. I'd rather go without.
@Dainty Dollymix - Thanks hon. Fingers crossed yours show up soon!
The flat topped synthetic brush is also really great for applying and blending foundation, thats what I use it for anyway!! :)
@Holly - Really? Cool, I'll give it a whirl with the old foundation too. Thanks for the tip!
Im thinking about ordering some myself. Ive had a look and they've got a few left still. I just resent so much having to pay £5 delivery. Really fu*ks me off that.

Glad you finally got your hands on them...I've got a couple, they get the job imo, as I only own one high-end brush anyways and don't even use it? I have the white handle brushes though...interested on your thoughts on the blk handle ones...
I really like Sonia brushes. They are hard to find because more people know about them than we know and Target and/ or the manufacturer ate slow on delivery. Chicks are too desperate here in NJ. Girl they stole the displays. The displays! Yup, snapped the brush right off. I want to see the needy chick with broken free brushes! smdh
I DO NOT like the white, gold, or pink handle brushes. They seem to be cut from the same poor fiber.
Leave the NJ brushes alone! I can barely get my hands on them! :2 P
I've been buying so many brushes lately but I need to get my hands on a few of those, they seem like a bargain despite the delivery charge.
great post!
The SpaceNK website is doo doo =0/

Glad your first impressions are good! I ordered mine over a week ago and still haven't received them, makes paying £5 P&P even more annoying!
I love my tiny smudger brush, but the crease brush I'm on the fence about. Enjoy, though!
I want the flat eyeliner brush and the angle brush...5 quid for p&P?? they are having a bubble!
Are these comparable to MAC brushes?
Btw you have a great blog, I just followed, if you have time, come check out mine :)
@Jo - I know what you mean.
@Mocha Mish Mash - I'll prob do a follow up post on them soon.
@Dwana - Oh stop it!! Somebody snapped off the display brushes?! That's foul LOL Thanks for the heads up on the quality of the pink, white and gold ones.
@Henessy - Yeah they are, but for £5 I expect them to be delivered within 3 days at the most!
@Noobarella - Yeah I'm not impressed with my first experience of the website.
@Becky - When they eventually show up, complain and get your postage refunded.
@Jess - I hope I like the crease brush ..I'll soon find out!
@IMO -I don't blame you.
@Pretty Pouts - As a cheaper alternative then yeah..but I haven't USED them yet so can't say for sure and even then, that'll just be my opinion. Thanks for following, I'll check you out x
Got my order in on thursday and used the brushes for the first time today. LOVED the synthetic flat top brush for foundation. The finish was amazing!
That's strange because I received my order in about 3 days and the brushes are fab - well, the foundation, concealer and blusher I've tried. Still got the eye brushes to test-drive.
I have the contour brush - I love it just for highlighting my cheeks and sometimes contouring. love it. i'm just not crazy about the handle of the brushes, lumpy messes.
sucks about the prices - but i wish UK stuff were brought into US. at least you guys get them overtime... for us in terms with everything takes forever or hardly never :(
Space NK are CHEEEKY! Those brushes look funky. Looking forward to reading how you rate them.
