I viewed the Bourjois Spring Collecton a few weeks ago and only now have I had a chance to share my thoughts on it. Some of you may have read about it on a couple of other blogs - sorry, don't care - this is my take on it.
A small group of us gathered at Bourjois HQ, where surrounded by a lovely spread of eatables, I gorged on ate cupcakes a plenty, as celebrity make up artist Cassie Lomas (she's worked with the Gaga!), talked us through the latest products to be launched by Bourjois.

Healthy Mix concealor
Unfortunately the new Healthy Mix foundation and concealor isn't made in a shade dark enough for me to try, so I'm not gonna even attempt and give you an opinion on this. However, you can read reviews on them here, here and here.
Luckily everything else in the collection I found wearable. As most of us may have noticed, coral lips are big this Spring and Summer and Bourjois have launched a bright coral lipstick which looks a bit scary in the tube, but applied with the right pressure is wearable for darker skintones aswell as pale ones. Personally I prefer to wear it blotted but for those brave enough, its rich pigment will give you lips that will be spotted a mile off. It's a satin finish, non drying and lasted a pretty while before it started fading on my lips too.
The brown/bronze eyeshadow, is fail-proof and pretty easy to wear, as is the blush if you want a natural flush of colour. The gold specks in this rose blush aren't chunky and give a light shimmer to the cheek. It applies quite sheer on me, but you can build the colour up if you prefer.
I like shade of the green eyeliner pencil as I like wearing bright colours to line my eyes and have a eyeliner collection, with some amazing shades for my peepers. This lime-esque green flatters brown eyes and brightens up the face without looking garish.
Volume Glmaour Ultra Care mascara is formulated for sensitive eyes and gives me wispy lashes, which aren't crunchy to the touch. I quite like the formula which contains sweet almond oils and is supposed to protect lashes from irritants such as pollution, air conditioning and rubbing. The smallish brush allowed me to distribute it evenly, but personally I feel more in control with a larger mascara wand.
