Sorry, I'm not a fan. I'm not that desperate to own a bit of Chanel that I'd waste £49 on these ill drawn monstrosities. I'd rather put the money towards a Chanel 2.55.
If I see anybody in London wearing these, chances are I'll assume you got them from the bargain bucket in Claires Accessories, so any efforts to be noticed would have been wasted. I can already visualise counterfeit listings popping up all Ebay by the time I've finished typing this post.
Coco Chanel must be turning in her grave. Temporary stick on tats do not spell out couture to me. In fact I think they look rather tacky and will have you labelled as a fashion victim as opposed to being "on trend".
Ok, so they worked on the catwalk, but if you ask me they should have been left there. Oh and what's this I hear about one of the tattoos being a pair of dangly earrings??! Just where exactly are you supposed to stick that one?!
Don't bother to ask me any questions about them as I don't know, don't care and certainly won't WEAR!
So come on, I know you have something to say! What do you think? Do you rate 'em or hate 'em? Don't worry if you've *shudder* bought them or think they're "amazing", I'll still publish your comment ;-)

41 beauty lovers have sumthin to say:
I love them I want them and not even temporary lol
I agree but not quite as vehemently lol! They don't interest me in the slightest - I suppose they thought they should try and bring out something affordable..who knows lol!
YUK! lol
haha love that you speak your mind! I actually think they are pretty but personally not my style and I don't like tattoos!full stop!I do think they will look good on some ppl but I won't be investing as I just won't use them!
I quite like them, and i would wear the smaller ones but not at £49! X
I've already seen Ebay listings. They're vile. Agreed
x
I like the idea of temporary tattoos since I'm too big of a shitbag to get a real one, but I just don't like the designs.x
hate them! They look rather chav-y, and classless.
I'm sorry to say this, cos the Pixiwoo sisters showed them on their latest video, and they were proud of them, but they're definitely chav-y and just for those show off people.
i am really glad you wrote this post. I've have just seen a video about it (and you know what I am talking about), in fact, a tutorial on how to apply a temporary tattoo, i mean, come on!!! I love those tattoos, I love any kind of transfer tattoos (I am a big big big fan), but
1. would not pay £50 for them
2. I doubt they would last as long as my loreal identité bought on eBay. Up to 2 weeks around belly button.
They are bloody vile and tacky..one word "ew" lol x
I completely agree with everything you said. I don't don't 'get' them, like, what's the point in them?
x
Totally agree. Horrible and tacky xx
lol I feel the same way, but not as passionately as you maybe? I wouldn't be seen dead with them and definitely think they should be kept to the catwalk. Just like the black lipstick fad last year... you seriously crack me up xx
I wouldn't mind a little CC logo on my inner wrist but I'd be gutted when it washed off (even though I wouldn't want it forever, it is quite fashion victim-y!). Don't really like the bigger ones.
They are a novelty but I don't really have £50 for them and I'd rather get some Chanel makeup instead!
Chanel costume jewellery starts from about £150ish so it'd be better to get the real jewellery which will last a lot longer if you look after it!
@Liloo - Nope haven't seen the video but I think that's a tad bizarre! LOL
@Lydia - I've not seen their latest vid, I haven't watched YT vids for a while cos of my dodgy PC.
Like you said, on the catwalk fine, in real life? NO! For 50 quid? HELL NO! What kind of foolishness is this anyway?
Temp tats belong as those things you find in bubble gum for free not for this sort of price and I really do not like the designs featured above. A bag would be a much better investment!
Yup, I LOVE them on the catwalk but on your average gal? hmm i'm not so sure. Although I do love the thought of a permanent tattoo in the style of a bracelet ... their designs are nice although i would think you were mad to have any logo permanently tattooed to your body.
Anyway, back to the temporary tats - lovely to look at but otherwise a bit chav-esque and really not worth the money x
Hehe, nice to see a different view =P. I personally love these! I have a couple of packs from an event i went too and I love them =). x
I personally won't be shelling out £50 for these when I could put the dosh towards something that will last longer than a couple of days. I love tattoos and have quite a few myself but I agree with the comments above about temporary tattoos just being a bit tacky. Just another thing that should have stayed on the catwalk only!
xx
They remind me of those daft transfers you used to get off of magazines years ago, whilst glitter tattoos seem like fn this just seems silly and is a total rip off.
haha love this post! I think they are strictly for teenagers as I cant imagine adults sporting them in public. I Don't hate them but find them kinda tacky for sure
No no and no. Simples.
I totally agree!!!! I have been wondering why on earth people are going on about these! Didnt this temporary tattoo phase smack us on the head when the henna tattoos were in 10 years ago?? I don't think they are classy at all..something Chanel works hard to be. Glad you wrote this post
i actually really like these! i think worn in the right way they can look quite sophisticated! but i thought the same about the counterfeit ones being made, you can almost guarentee that people will get ripped off by fake versions of these!
Eh its £49 for something that Chinese wholesaler will have up on EBay for a couple of quid in a few days. /shrug
they are vile! whats the point of them...they scream fashion victim all the way. give me a 2.55 and a tweed jacket anyday over this foolishness!!
Bingo!
I thought exactly the same, they look all spindly and spidery. They could've been more cute and elegant, given it's CHANEL! Hellooo?
I rate em and think they look like fun - I will however be doing my best to resist, and they might not go too well with my burberry check bag.
Whaddya mean naff? Fashion victim?! How Dare Ya! ;-)
I don't really like them, think the only way they would look okay-ish is as a necklace, like sam chapman did..but i still think other than catwalk, fancy dress or simply worn eccentricly they look kind of silly
love your blog!
I'm not impressed with them at all even if they're by Chanel. My kids buy temporary tattoos all the time---from gumball machines!!! LOL
I'd feel silly wearing temp tattoos...I mean who wants to worry about sweating away their "tattoo" or hiding from the rain because their tatt might slide off...No thank you, one more trend I won't be doing.
AMEN.
I think theyre tacky as hell.
bah hahaha! I love this post. I think they are tacky as hell also! Lord knows I will seeing a shitload of these suckers walking down my block in soho...
xx
Just UGH. Not a fan at all, and like you, would rather put my money towards a 2.55!
xoxo
haha..I was pawing them in selfridges yesterday. I did think it would make me a bit of a victim so i slowly moved away from the counter. The girl working there told me that there are only 2000 of them being sold and "everyone" will be wearing them this spring...hmmmm contradiction much??!
Lol, you surely don't like them! :)
But, I can't blame you...
When I first saw them, prior to the release, I thought they were the most amazing thing I 'd seen in a while, but now, I 'm kinda... over them, lol!
And yeah, I definitely can't imagine anyone wearing these in real non-catwalk life, oh, well, maybe a pre-teen girl could get away with them...!
xx
It seems to me that many of those who oppose these tattoos hate them because of the people they imagine will wear them - fashion victims who shop at claire's accessories, chavs, etc.
Also, last time I checked, no counterfeit tattoos on Ebay...
My point is, I think the tattoos are ingenious, that Karl Lagerfeld is trying, (and successfully) bringing Chanel into 2010, and it's all about how you wear it. That's the same as a Chanel 2.55 bag. I have one of them, and I used to be really conscious of the fact that many people carry counterfeit 2.55 bags, that people might think I was one of them. But I soon realised that it's how the whole thing looks, not just one particular item. I can say the same for the tattoos.
Vile!!
Lol: I really like them...and have worn them. I've always hankered after a tattoo but have never quite had the courage to do it - this is a good temporary tattoo fix for me and I love that its from Chanel. So, bite me!
ohhh no...that's all I have to say.
I love them! They're gorgeous! Where's your sense of fun? You sound like old trouts at the vicar's garden party ;)It's just that using temporary tattoos as a fashion accessory is a new idea. They are a little overpriced though - I couldn't care less if it's Chanel or not.
I agree with most of the girls here. It's pretty cute and nice to have but for the price? No, thanks. Fashion Handbags
