I picked up Inglot Slim Gel lick in shade 65, which is a bright, electric purple. It's gorgeous! I think I actually love this more than Lavender Whip at the moment. It's just too much!!! WOC - do not sleep on this shade if you happen to pop into Inglot. I'm unsure how it compares to MAC Violetta as I don't own that to compare, but this will do for me in the meantime.
Lipglossiping voiced concerns over the Slim Gels being too soft and possibly breaking when pressure is applied to them, but I think I've overcome this potential issue by just twisting the tube to expose no more of the lipstick than I actually need when applying it. It. Storing your make up in a cool, dry place away from heat will of course, preserve your makeup for longer too.
It glides on smoothly and has a smooth, creamy texture which keep my lips moisturised. I wore it yesterday and it kept my lips supple, only needing a touch up after meals. Some of my MAC lipsticks can be a tad on the dry side but I was really happy with the way this performed.

At first glance, Inglot Slim Gel lipsticks are reminiscent of MAC Slimshines, right down to the packaging, but are cheaper at £9, wheareas the Slimshines are priced at £13. It's a no brainer!! As mentioned previously, the Slim Gels are more pigmented too.
I'm quite impressed with my purchases from Inglot, the brand is a great addition to the UK high street and has a wide variety of products, which in my opinion are reasonably priced. I had a good look at everything instore and took my time when deciding what to go for and as a result, I have no 'buyers remorse'.

Sadly I've never been to my Inglot counter, and it's been at the local mall for a few years now! I'll have to see if they stock this at the Australian counters :)
Well if they smell like Vanilla or anything sweet like that then Inglot will have won me over! Can't wait to check them out next time I go to Westfield! :)

I love purple and lilac lip colors, I need to use them more. This just confirms my love for Inglot
I refused to take note of Char when she showed these to us the other daym but DAMN that colour is just screaming to be bought!!

I want some INGLOT products! They opened a free standing store in Ottawa, Canada a few years back (the time I wasn't into makeup) and they closed it because they weren't making much sales. :( I miss the store now, dearly.
