Lush sugar lip scrub?
I bought this weeks ago and have only used it once. I can't carry it out and about with me for fear of looking like I've dipped my lips in a bowl of sugar and I don't use it any other time as my lips aren't dry and even if they do feel minutely parched, then a dunk whilst under the shower revitalises them or a slick of my trusty Burts Bees chapstick does the trick.
Its ingredients of sugar, jojoba oil, colouring and artificial flavour is a concoction I could have made up myself, so I fool a tad foolish for wastiuing my money on this.
The only thing I like is the Bubblegarm scent I chose. Can I have my £4.50 back please and a slap for getting caught up in the hype after reading a couple of reviews?

I actually find these sugar scrubs really irritating. Not a Lush fan in any case though!
aww thats a shame it did not work out for you :( I have heard so many good reviews about it. But I guess i'l be giving this a pass now, thanks!
Spot on.. Same here! Used it once, loved the smell and same daily lip story! :| I bought 'Sweet Lips' though..
Aw I am I the only person who likes this product? Yes I know I could have made it myself but.. but... erm... it wouldn't be pink and smell of bubblegum! I find it really helps my flaky lips. Each to their own though :-) x
It's strange how something can work for one person but not for another. I love this product! I use it morning and at night and it leaves my lips soft.Maybe it's not worth £4.50 for a it of sugar and oil but I love it x
I don't undestand the need of a special product for the exfoliation of lips. I have this Body Shop lip scuff and I hate it!!! It made my balanced lips dry and flaky. Honestly, an old toothbrush can do the trick without the cost ;)
I love the idea of these, but as its just a sugar it would be pretty easy to make at home. Rubbing a wet flannel over the lips is also great for exfoliating x
i actually love this product! i did ask myself if £4.50 was worth it for, as you say a flavoured sugar, but its so much less hassle to dip your finger in this than to make your own! it makes my lips smooth and tingly afterwards too, making lip butter go on like a dream!
I have the Sweet Lips version of this and really love it. I guess its better suited to people like myself who suffer from dry chapped lips, you're lucky to have lips like you describe! :)
I bought this too..its ANNOYING. its edible, but after a while, it becomes SO sickly to taste :(
I want! Maybe the bday fairy will give it to me =)
XOxo
From when I first saw this I thought it was a waste of money, like you said it's something that can easily be made yourself. I bet it tastes good though!
I have this too, waste of money but tastes so good, haha xx
