Make Up For Ever Aqua Creams + swatches

My recent love for Make Up For Ever products shows no sign of coming to a halt any time soon. I've tried a few products from the line, my favourite being Full Cover concealer and more recently their HD blushes. However, I'm still on the fence regarding the HD foundation. Two years on some days I like it and others I loathe it. Meh.

Anyway the latest offering from the cosmetic powerhouse comes in the form of Aqua Creams, a collection of versatile waterproof colours that can be worn on the eyes, lips and cheeks.

Available in 21 shades, these have been created to resist smudging, creasing, sweat and tears! Perfect timing if recent weather is anything to go by.

I picked a few up at The Make Up Show NYC but wish I had picked up the brown and either the purple, blue or green. I felt quite rushed as the queue to pay was forming so I didn't have time to think my choices through properly.

I've not had a chance to use them on my eyes yet but the swatches pictured were swiped almost 10 hours ago and have survived numerous hand washing and rubbing. Seriously, they've not budged! They apply ever so smoothly and feel extremely light on the skin. Pigment is rich, drying time swift and I love how they can be used alone, layered with eyeshadows, blush and even lip gloss for added intensity.

I sniffed them out of curiousity and I'm not so hot on the smell, which is reminiscent of paint, but they'll be nowhere near my nose when used, so whatever. I'll see how long they last once on my face and if they pass the test, and then I may get a couple more shades.

I would love to get a few of these. I went to sephora today to see if they had them but so sad....canada sephoras didn't get them yet. =( Hopefully...these eventually come here too.

@Ki - Yeah, there are some really gorgeous shades available.

@Amina - Boots Botanics eye make up remover is the one I always repurchase these days. It's the cheaper equivalent to Lancome Bi-Facil and that Clinique one ..I can't remember the name. Take off the Day or something!
