Eye Protection On A Budget - Garnier UltraLift Firming Eye Cream

I've been religiously using an eye cream on a daily basis for the past 5 years or so now. I started off with one from SkinCeuticals, which retailed for over £100 and was sent to me as part of my first Beauty Bible package to test and review. I liked it, but there was no way I was spending that much money on a skincare product, so when it ran out I began to look for an affordable alternative.

I decided to try  Cliniques All About Eyes after it was repeatedly mentioned in recommendations. I don't have a bad word to say about this product, my favourite being the All About Eyes Rich version. It has kept the skin around my eyes hydrated and smooth and performed extremely well . Retailing at £22, I shimmied on over to Ebay where I found it much cheaper and dutifully repurchased this over and over again working my way through at least 5 pots.

Last Winter as my latest pot was coming to an end, I decided to research what else was out there on the market. Using an eye cream was now a permanent fixture in my skincare routine and I eventually settled on Garnier UltraLift Firming eye cream.

Part of the The Garnier UltraLift Anti-Wrinkle range, the UltraLift Firming Eye Cream contains Pure Ginger Extract which helps to depuff skin and leave it feeling firmer and looking smoother. Garnier claim you'll see a difference after an hour which is far-fetched in my opinion, but this cream does work well for me keeping the skin around my eyes well moisturised and free from wrinkles and has performed beyond my expectations for a high street skincare product.

My 15ml tube has lasted 8 months which I think is fantastic value for money. Looking at the tube, I never imagined it would last this amount of time. The nozzle allows the product to dispense easily and you only need a small amount for each eye. It's currently being sold for £4.45 in Superdrug so now's an ideal time to try it out if you're tempted.

How much is it? £9.29
Where can I buy it from? Boots, Superdrug  (currently on offer in Superdrug)

Hmm worth trying , as the Clinique one that I also use, is quite costly.
Would you say this one is AS good as Clinique all about eyes *rich*?
If so, then I am getting this- :-D

@Stina - Texture wise it's similar to the original All About Eyes, but the difference in comparison to the rich is fairly minute in my opinion.

Fabulous review, I might waddle to the shops at the weekend, so I think I'll pick this up, I'm in desperate need of a decent eye cream! xxx

I might have to try this out. I've been looking for an eye cream for a while, but everyone always recommends the expensive ones and I don't have a job to be buying such costly items :(

Off to Superdrug I go. I'm always on the lookout for a good eyecream - was tempted by Origins Ginzing but think it might be more of a brightener/depuffer when I need something to combat fine lines!x

Well I have to say Nivea Expert lift firming eye cream is just a bit better. But budget ones are hard to come by.
