Smooth onto wet skin, massage in circular motions to improve the skin tone, and rinse. Use no more than twice a week Not suitable for sensitive skin.
I love a good exfoliator and relish the immediate polish they give to my complexion, sloughing off rough and dead skin cells in the process . To date my favourite has been MAC Volcanic Ash which I fell in love with, the moment I tried it.Unfortunately this is stupidly limited edition, so we won't go into that!
The Body Shop Vitamin C line has undergone a revamp, and with it comes the new Vitamin C Microdermabrasion scrub, which is a weekly home spa treatment that can be implemented into your existing skincare regime.
It contains the following:
* Ultra-fine exfoliating garnet particles that stimulate cell renewal and leave skin incredibly soft and smooth.
* Contains Amazonian camu camu berry, which is known to have one of the highest contents of vitamin C in nature. Antioxidant Vitamin C encorages production of collagen, improves elasticity and protects against damaging environmental aggressors.
* Nourishing Community Trade she butter to soften and refine the skin.

What I love about this scrub is that the exfoliating grains are the smoothest I've ever had the pleasure of applying to my skin. They're so fine, they feel like grains of sand - the smoothest sand in the land! I adore the texture of this product. It's so easy to distribute without causing any redness or friction and leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth and refreshed.
It has a citrus-like scent, but when spread over the face intensifies slightly, but not to the point where it becomes too overbearing. I like to use this before applying a face mask as it really prepares my skin properly for the final stage of a pampering session. If your skin is looking dull and lacklustre then this will act as a great pick me up, stimulating new cell renewal and encouraging a healthy glow.
A Fantastic product, which gets a huge thumbs up from me.
The revamped Vitamin C range will be able both in-store and online at The Body Shop UK in August.

@Legseleven7 - Haha sorry!
Hmm I'm always dubious when it comes to these at home Microdermabrasion scrubs/kits... in your opinion what makes this (and other MD scrubs/kits) different to normal scrubs? Any idea what the RRP will be? X
I love this too! I used it this morning and I love it. I never knew the difference between a usual scrub and a microdermabrasion one but it's all too obvious now.
@Mets - I've always stirred cleared from microdermabrasion products until now. TBH this performs like an ordinary exfoliator, the grains are just much, much finer and I don't even view it a a microdermabrasion product - it's just a damn good exfoliator. If my memory serves me correctly I think the RRP is £10 or so. Hope that helped a little.
@Rhamnousia - The biggest difference for me is the texture of the grains. This will definitely be purchased once I use the one I have up.
wow, can't wait to try this! i'll definitely pick some up once it's realeased in canada. thanks for the review!

I've been thinking about getting a microdermabrasion type scrub, I was looking at the No7 one but this looks nicer, thanks!
I found your blog off a feature website where u were one of the 3 top bloggers credited for MAC changing the names of that collection..I love me a great beauty blog! U have a new follower in me and I loveee that u r a fellow naija girl! Kudos! Nike.
I've been looking for a microdermabrasion for awhile, now I'm thinking about checking this one out :)
love the concept of this: my favourite body exfoliator was also a citrus-like scent from garnier and I'd never seen a citrus one for the face. I am very tempted by this, definitely going to check this little devil next time i walk past a body shop. the deciding factor for me will be the price xx
