Facial cleansers - I know the formula I like and stick with it. Gel cleansers, which foam up are my desired choice and although I may change brand occasionally, so long as the cleanser in question comes in a gel and foams up without leaving my skin feeling tight, then we'll more than likely get along.
I love, love, LOVE Dermalogica's Special Cleansing Gel which I was introduced to nine years ago, when I went for a Dermalogica facial (who was coincidentally the first one I'd ever had). I'm surprised it's taken me so long to speak of my love for this actually. I've repurchased this on and off over the years, and so was very pleased to receive a bottle after attending a Dermalogica bloggers event a few months ago.
I only need to apply the smallest amount to damp hands and I'm able to work up a creamy lather that cleanses thoroughly in one wash. A 250ml bottle of this clear gel, lasts me at least four months when used twice a day. I purchase mine from Pura which sells Dermalogica considerably cheaper than the better known websites that I'm aware of - so bookmark this website in your faves!
When I'm not using Special Cleansing Gel, I'm using Neutrogena's Fresh Foaming Cleanser, which I stumbled upon in NY a couple of years ago. I don't know what the UK equivalent of this is, yet to find a Neutrogena cleanser which looks the same (but in a different bottle) over here, so I just stock up whenever I'm stateside.

6 beauty lovers have sumthin to say:
I love the Dermalogica exfoliator, masques and the oil cleanser, so nice on the skin!
i usually use a gel cleanser in the summer and something creamier in the winter. i do love when something foams without stripping my skin. i suppose this will be added to my list of "must try" products
I love cream cleansers as I feel they put moisture back into my skin after using my face wash. I absolutely love Ponds Cream Cleanser, it is very thick, but does a fab job of removing all makeup without irritating my sensitive eyes :)

I'm using a passionfruit one from TBS. It's a liquid, I don't feel it is a gel as it's not really sticky but it really works well on me.
Hi there, thanks so much for this. The gel cleanser sounds lovely as if it doesn't strip the skin and leave you with that tight feeling. Thanks also for the Pura link, I'm having a look there next. Happy new year. Diane
Exactly what I use minus the Neutrogena wash but my cleanser ran out weeks ago & I've been using Dove soap out of laziness :-\ I'm probably going to try Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish, wanted to try it for ages. Thanks for the Pura tip!
