17 Miami Pop Summer Limited Edition Collection

Bright, tropical, summery and aptly named Miami Pop, the new upcoming limited edition summer range from 17 mixes neon metallic bronze tones with season brights and vivid neons.

Comprising of two contrasting polishes in juicy hot pink and bright orange (both creme finishes), a marbled shimmering bronze/gold baked bronzer, a hot pink sheer lipgloss, a volumisnig mascara which promises to give you thick 'wow' lashes and a weightless 'skin adapting' SPF15 foundation (only available in four shades - boo!), Miami Pop aims to give you a great summer look without having to lug a million products around.

I love the bright neon packaging which takes inspiration from the imagery and graphic elements of Miami's art deco district in the 1920s and 40s. It's fun and just screams summer.

Miami Pop Lipgloss - £3.99
Miami Pop Bronzer - £4.99
Miami Pop Nail Colour - £2.99
(Available from 15th June 2011 for 4 weeks only)

Falsifeye False Lash Mascara - £6.49
(Available from July 2011)

Falsifeye Gel Eyeliner - given as a free gift when the mascara is purchased. I can't remember the exact details of that promo, so I'll amend ths post once it's confirmed.

A very blurry picture of Miami Pop Nail Colour in Palm Beach!

Adapti-tude Adapting Skin Match Foundation. Comes in Extra Fair, Fair, Medium and Medium Dark - £6.29
(Available from May 2011)

Miami Pop Bronzer - def something to take a look at if you have a darker skin tone. It gives a lovely sheen to the skin and ISN'T packed full of glitter!

Affordable as ever, 17 have out together a fun mini collection which I think will prove popular once the sun (eventually) comes out and temperatures start to rise.

Availble from Boots stores and Boots.com

I think that brands that are "blogger friendly" have really upped their game in recent years and 17 is one of them. I like the way they have started to change their packaging for all of their new releases, the eyeshadow pacakging reminds me of the MAC packaging for Neo Sci Fi.

I'm happy the gel liner is making another appearance, my Stila purple one is fit only for the bin so I will be picking up all of these new ones..

@Rhamnousia - Yeah, I thought of Neo-Sci Fi too! LOL

I'd buy for packaging alone - the box the liner comes in and the mascara are gorgeous! Plus, I'm a sucker for flamingos.

@Beauty's Bad Habit - Yeah, I really like the packaging too - very cute.

17 is really churning out some quality goods now. I'm quite surprised by how much I like their new collections since I recall some of their products a few years back and wasn't too impressed then.

Of course, seeing the press releases is one thing. Being able to swatch them myself in the store is another and luck would have it that my local (flagship city) Boots store NEVER stock the collections on time. Case in point: those trio glittery eyeshadows you mentioned in Nov/Dec 2010? They've just appeared on the shelves. Urgh!

Love the look of this collection, I'm a sucker for flamingoes, they're so cute. Will definitely be getting this when it comes out. And the gel eyeliner will be worth a try as well, it's great how more affordable brands are now coming out withy gel eyeliners
