In my previous post I mentioned that I took a lot of Elemis products away with me on holiday, all included in my Alice Temperley for Elemis Safari Traveller Bag. As luck would have it, my allergic reaction flared up and I was unable to use the face products at all, as they just burned my face as they reacted to my irritated skin, so they were quickly abandoned. I did however indulge myself with Elemis' Skin Nourishing Cream on a daily basis, which I was very pleased to find included in the travel set.
I LOVE this product! OH MY GAH! It smells divine, much like the Skin Nourishing Milk Bath, which I reviewed here. In fact they smell absolutely identical. My main issue with the Nourishing Milk Bath was that it didn't lather very well at all - and I'm not one to just sit in flat bath water, I NEED BUBBLES in my life!
This however, is just perfect. It smells amazing, feels luxurious, lathers richly in the shower and leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft - even my husband started using it, much to my unamusement (why do men moan that you own too many products, yet help themselves to all your stuff?!). I must have forseen that this would happen as I purposely took two bottles away with me! It smells like freshly bathed new born babies - but better! Like hot sweet milk maybe and baked cookies maybe. Just think warm, sweet and comforting and you get the idea. No? Then try and figure out what Milk Protein, Jojoba Beads and Macadamia Oil smell like entwined, if you can't get to a counter for a whiff!
A 300ml bottle will set you back £20.50 - not obscenely expensive in my opinion and if you do decide to treat yourself, then it'll be a purchase you certainly won't regret, I guarantee it. I will happily repurchase this FOREVER! Still not willing to spend that much? Then check out Ebay where you can buy 100ml bottles in bulk, which work out cheaper overall - which is what I've been doing. I currently have six bottles and counting ...
Not a fan of Ebay? Then you can find Elemis stocked in large department stores and over at timetospa
Which product can't you get enough of at the moment?
