Sleek Mediterranean Collection + Swatches

The latest products from high street brand Sleek, landed in Superdrug branches on Tuesday. The Mediterranean Collection provides affordable, colourful additions to your summer make up. Inspired by the vivid colours of the Mediterranean, the limited edition palette features exotic brights complimented by a range of sea blues and greens.

You should know the score with Sleek palettes by now - 12 eye shadows, packed with pigment in sleek (no pun intended) compact plastic casing. The Monaco palette (£6.29 - yes, the price has gone up) is no exception as my swatches reveal:

I feel as if I've seen some of these shades before in previous palettes (perhaps in the Curious palette??), but I can see myself wearing a few of the shades - I'll probably get the most wear from Sand Walker, Midnight Garden and Aquamarine. With that said, the Sleek Storm palette is still my fave palette hands down!

Next up is the new Santorini blush (£4.29). A shockingly bright fuchsia, this cool toned pink may appear terrifying in the pan to some, but you can control the depth of colour, by using the slightest of pressure when applying it. Personally it's not one of my favourite Sleek products as I found its texture a little chalky. Deeper skin tones with have no problems carrying it off when applied with a light hand, and those with paler skin tones need to be even more careful unless your desired look is to emulate Aunt Sally from Worzel Gummidge!

Also included in this mini collection is Monte Carlo Pout Polish (£4.29)which is a tinted lip conditioning balm containing SPF15 and Jojoba, Avocado and Sweet Almond Oil, suited for all. This bright pink polish leaves a wash of colour on the lips - but for a stronger look, simply layer it on.

The Mediterranean Collection is available in Superdrug branches nationwide and online at

I always say the Sleek Storm palette is my favourite also and being one who has all palettes that have been released I'm thankful that the Storm one *touch wood* will forever been in the permanent collection.

I also find too that I've seen some of these shades before and as this was before they had shade names I think I may need to do a little swatch to see.

Yet I do love this palette...hummingbird is such a sweet colour.

& wait you paid £6.29 for the palette - I paid £6.90

@LaaLaa Monroe - Sleek sent both items to me. I wouldn't have bought it as not enough of the shades jump out at me.

£6.90 is a bit cheeky. It says £6.29 on the press release!

Oh yeah sorry didn't see the PR Samples part, I went hunting down my receipt lol!

I think they need to get their prices straight as on the website it's £7.00 smh.

Ahh the days when Sleek was under a fiver.

Not even gonna lie, I feel like that blush was unintentionally made for me. *drools*

The palette price increase is way more than what the vat increase was. No more buying 2 palettes for a tenner. So if they ever have an in store buy 1 get 1 free i shall indulge

but the med palette looks pretty but I feel I have these colours elsewhere. I bought the blush as a challenge to myself as i have always been a bit scared of pink blush and just as you say a light hand and it looks really nice.

I am waiting for i think is the caribbean palette and possibly their neutral palette if it is not too close to my UD naked or 88 palettes.
