Review: Palmers Daily Cleansing Gel

As you may already be aware, Palmers (of cocoa butter fame) have recently launched a facial skincare line.

The product which immediately grabbed my interest (and yours it seems judging by the comments left in my previous post) was the Daily Cleansing Gel.

The packaging is fuss free and embodies the familiar Palmers logo, which I find strangely comforting (yes, I'm being a tit!). It has an easy to use pump dispenser and as I found out on day two of usage, you really only need a small pump of product in the palm of your hand to get a good cleanse.

Containing cocoa butter and milk protein, the gel feels very light on the skin and has a 'slippy' feel to it which I just can't put into words - I haven't felt this with any other gel cleanser I've used before. It doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry before moisturising, and forms a rich lather quickly, which rinses off easily. I've been using this for six days now and I really like it. Funnily enough, I don't notice the scent of cocoa butter in it at all, which would have instantly turned me off had I caught a whiff of it.

This is a cleanser suitable for all skin types - especially those with sensitive skin, It also contains Aloe Vera and Evening Primrose extract to reduce redness and is ideal for use both morning and night, eliminating the use for a separate cleanser in the evening. I genuinely have no complaints - it works well for me easily shifting grime and make up. Great product, great price and it will certainly be repurchased once it comes to an end.

How much is it? £3.95

Where can I buy it? Superdrug

Thanks, I'll definitely give it a try. Using dermologica clay cleanser at the moment but looking for something alot less expensive.

I've heard mixed things about this, but it's a lot cheaper than my usual cleanser so could well be worth a try!
