You've heard the rumours and possibly already seen the broken embargo photos (tut tut!), so yeah, the world's worst kept secret is finally out of the bag; due to the unprecedented success of the original Naked Palette, Urban Decay have released the Naked 2 Palette.
Did you know that after two years on the market, Urban Decay's Naked Palette still remains the best-selling palette in the beauty industry?
Available from today on Urbandecay.com in the U.S, the 12 shade eye shadow palette, comes in new packaging and unlike it's predecessor there's not a 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in sight! The Naked 2 Palette instead comes with a custom double-ended full size shadow/crease brush and a mini Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Naked.

The Naked 2 Palette will be released in the UK on 9th January 2012 at Debenhams and other retailers will follow on February 6th. If your new year's resolution is to cut down on your make up spending and you plan on buying this, you'd have broken your vow on the first day of the new year - brilliant!! Haha!
How much will it be? £36/$50
Where can I buy it from? Urbandecay.com if you're U.S based. In the UK, selected Debenhams and House of Fraser Stores. Or, log onto Debenhams.com, houseoffraser.com, beautybay.com, hqhair.com and lookfantastic.com.
What do you think of the new packaging? The new palette comes in a robust, tin case with a hinged closure, which will fare better than the weaker cardboard structure the original was housed in. The full length mirror is another attractive feature.
Swatches and more shade info coming up very shortly...

It looks better in every picture, I definitely need this palette!
I've wanted to buy the Naked palette for some time and now that UD Naked 2 is coming I don't know whether I want the first or second one. Both palettes are amazing and if I had the disposable income to get the two I really would, but if I had to be really strict on myself, I think I prefer the eyeshadows in the first one because it seems as though you can create more looks with it. However the eyeshadows in the second one are more 'naked' and natural. I've never deliberated so much about an eyeshadow palette in my life and still haven't really made up my mind.

@rebeccamonique I would go with the second edition bc since it is newer it will most likely sell out. You can always save up for the first edition and I am sure it will be easily available bc everyone will be flocking to buy the newer version like me lol.
Great post!I'm in the same position as Rebeccamonique,I guess I have to go to Ulta and play around with both products ;)
wow you got it so fast!
