So, you've seen my first post, right, which features the all important UK (and U.S) release date info? No? Then may I suggest you shimmy your way over and take a look!
The Naked 2 Palette has five new shades and I've highlighted them in bold make them easier to spot and without further ado, here are my swatches.
I don't own the original Naked palette, so unfortunately can't compare shades for you, but as a Naked Virgin, overall I think this is a pretty decent palette. Perfect for a weekend away, or to take on holiday, it caters for all my neutral eye needs. The brush is a useful addition and the mirror a necessity for convenience.
First impressions? The matte shades, Foxy and Tease didn't swatch very easily and took a bit of work (4-5 swatches with my finger to be exact) in order for them to show up to my liking. I'm hoping they're more user friendly when I take a brush to them. Blackout is the exception and is a pretty good matte black - much better than MAC Carbon. Blackout has a far smoother finish in comparison.
I really like YDK, Half Baked, Snakebite and Chopper and can envisage them getting a lot of love. On my deep skin tone, the palette overall is warm toned and the shades are really flattering. The coolest shade is Verve, which shows up silver on my NC50 skin tone.
Oh and before I forget, here's the Lip Junkie lipgloss in Naked, which leaves a menthol-esque after taste in your mouth, which on par with toothpaste! It's an inoffensive mid-tone pink sprinkled with shimmer, which can be worn by all - regardless of skin tone. This is how it show up under flash on me.
The accompanying brush isn't too bad for an extra. Cruelty free, it's domed applicator is firm, yet feels a little too rigid for my own personal liking. The 'fluffy' brush on the other end is supple and the synthetic bristles don't splay, allowing you to blend yet maintaining control over where you move your colour.
I've come across far worse brushes which are heavily promoted as part of a brands main brush line, but I'd still choose my own brushes over this to use with the palette. Bottom line, I've come across far worse 'freebie' brushes but if given the choice, I still wouldn't go out of my way to use this to apply the shadows to hand.
No mention of this being limited edition, it would make no sense really, so I think it's safe to assume this will also be a permanent addition to the Urban Decay line.
How many of you already own the original Naked palette? Will you buy this or are you going to skip it? Either way, we all know it's gonna sell out!

21 beauty lovers have sumthin to say:
I'm loving Snakebite. Thanks for the swatches that's exactly what I was looking for (:
Thanks for this, was really excited when I heard about the palette and I live in France so I probably won't get my hands on it for another month or so.
I have the original Naked palette and to be honest they look very similar... I'm going to skip this one.
These look really great against your skin tone!
I want this!

Great swatches hun thanx4 info I want this palette as I didn't get the first one.
The naked palette is by far my most used palette.. I've even stopped using MAC and Sleek since discovering it!
I really don't NEED this palette but I can see myself still buying it!
Sami x
This is absolutely going to be mine! I like that there aren't too many bronze/coppery shades this time with a decent mix of greys, silvers and a much needed matte black!
I cannot wait until January 1st! An early birthday present to myself I think!
Thanks for the swatches! x
Thanks for these swatches, I checked out Charlotte's as well and it useful to see how it looks on different skintones as I'm NC42. I get a lot of use from the 1st one so probably will be getting this one. The size is also a bit more compact to store as well in comparison to the BOS palettes.
Good Lord I want this. Beautiful swatches, Yinka!
I have the original and even though I don't really use it often I still want this one or else I'll feel like I'm missing out. Stupid I know! I may just hold back until Debenhams have those £5 off £25 vouchers flying about.
Ok so YAA. This is going on my Xmas list! I love ALL the shades on there, great post!
I dont own the first naked palette but this one seems much more interesting! Thanx for the swatches

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT! Can't wait to get my mitts on this. It looks even better than Naked 1 to me x
Tease and Snakebite are HOT!
I'm so excited for this to come out in the UK! I like the shades in this one better than the ones in the original Naked Palette.

Awesome swatches! Snakebite looks amazing (though I won't be buying since I already have the original)!
Great Swatches. I really want this palette but I am still on the fence. I have the Original Naked Palette and btwn that, my MAC palette of neutrals, my Sleek Au Naturel Palette and Sleek Oh So Special Palette I think I have enough nudes for a lifetime lol
Thanks for the swatches! I like this but I believe I have dupes of the new shades and have the other shades in my other UD palettes. Also, I bought the NYX Nude on Nude palette(for $11 on sale + coupon :p) when NP1 came out in search of dupes. Although I didn't find many dupes to NP1, I think there are some dupes for NP2 shades in there. This should help curb my urge to get it.
ohh I love this UD palette! the colors look so shimmery and sighhhhh purrity :D
Have seen reviews of this everywhere but no one has shown it on black skin. Thanks!
i loved naked 1...and naked 2 seems just as fabulous...but I will be waiting for the rumored naked matte palette! so excited!
