Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H - Foundation Shades For EVERYONE.

Over the past few years my experience with Lancome cosmetics has laid firmly with their infamous Juicy Tubes and mascaras. Lancome Hypnose Drama is always within reach and for years I was a slave to Juicy Tube in Chilled before it was rudely discontinued.

Until now, their foundations have been a no-go area for me, as annoyingly they didn't cater for darker skin tones. Finally, Lancome have noticed that yes, darker skinned woman use make up too and have included eight new shades in their Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation. I almost fell of the sofa in shock when somebody recommended I try this on Twitter a couple of weeks ago and I saw that YES, THERE ARE INDEED SHADES AVAILABLE FOR DARKER SKIN TONES!!!

Teint Idole Ultra 24H is available in 18 shades covering all complexions and is the result of eight years of research. It claims to be retouch-free, and provides shine free, velvety-smooth coverage.

I passed by Debenhams during my lunch break last Thursday and took home a free seven day sample (go to your nearest counter to get yours now). I was matched to shade #11 after swatching a couple on my jawline and getting my colleague (Hey Monique!) to scrutinise which one looked better on me, as I don't trust the lighting in department stores.

My sample - don't be fooled by how small it looks IRL. A little goes a long way.

Lancome claim that this will last 24 hours (who wears their foundation for a full 24 hours anyway?). Hmmm well I can dispel that claim after wearing it to work yesterday, but I'll write up a full review next week after putting it through its paces a while longer.

Have any of you tried it yet? If not, go get your free sample now!

How much is it? £27
Where can I buy it? Lancome counters nationwide and online

I love it when makeup brands offer a spectrum of foundation shades, it makes me feel inclusive rather than unwelcome, hence my previous loyalty to MAC! Hopefully some of these other high end brands will clock on and cater for women of ALL colours. Thanks for the heads up, will be stopping by for my free sample :) x

i haven't tried this one yet but their Teint Miracle is my HG everyday foundation. I'm finishing my bottle and will purchase a new one soon.

So happy that Lancome has extended their range. I wasn't aware that their range was limited as I fit in the light category for most foundations so never noticed. I Hope you like your foundation and let us know what you think. I've been curious about the actual longevity of the Teint Idole
