Last night I attended an exclusive preview of the brand new lip products, soon to be released by high street cosmetic fave Rimmel. With supermodel Kate Moss flying the flag for the popular home grown brand, Rimmel are going from strength to strength, continuously producing great quality products which are easy on the purse strings.
New for 2013 is Apocalips Lip Lacquer, which combines the best of lipgloss and lipstick in a new groundbreaking formula - a luscious liquid full of pure colour pigments which give rich colour and great shine which goes the distance. It promises to not leave lips feeling the same dryness which many long-wear lipsticks can cause, or the gloopy stickiness of a typical lipgloss. I can confirm that they are indeed non-sticky on the lips and very hydrating after a quick lip swatch before I eventually collapsed into bed. The formula reminds me of an existing lipgloss, but for the life of me I can't remind which one at the moment - considering I'm writing this past well past midnight, it's of no surprise that I can't recall which one right now.
With a selection of shades fit to suit all skin tones, take a look at the shade recommendations from Kirstin Piggott, Rimmel London's Official Make-Up Artist.

Creamy and conditioning, Apocalips will be available in eight shades, priced £5.99 each and they'll hit counter on 23rd January 2013.

I think the doe foot applicator works well with the formula, which applies to the lips smoothly,
