Because I have nothing better to do this evening, I decided to follow suit and lay all my nail polishes out in a pretty rainbow sequence like Kelango19! Totally pointless, but it amused me greatly for the 10 mins or so that it took to put me in colour order.
I stopped buying polishes for a while but got into them again last Summer. I won’t be buying that many more as I don’t want them to end up going bad without getting a chance to get as much use out of them as I can.
I was gonna ask the boy to order me 3 free Zoya polishes with that U.S promo code they gave out on Twitter after cheating their way to 5000 followers (by falsely claiming the offer was valid to overseas customers too) but I couldn’t get onto the site cos it crashed and when I eventually did this morning I couldn’t be bothered to start trawling through shades. Besides he does more than the average man would when it comes to fulfillling my beauty requests so he deserves a break!!!
My first point of call for swatches is www.nailgal.com for whenever I crave a new colour or want to see what a particular shade name looks like.
Are you into your nail polish as much as you are your make up? Always on point buying the latest polish shades or are you not really bothered and wear whatever, whenever?

I love nail polish! I have been buying so many lately that I think I need to stop lol! I am going to do this, although I am very worried that I will have many variations on the same shades lol!

I buying nail polishes for quite a while – I had MAC Lovin Pink & Rockstar and was quite happy with those but I've over the past couple of weeks I've got back into it. I remember being obsessed with 17 polishes when I was at high school and having shoeboxes full of polishes – but they just end up going gloopy so trying not to go overboard again! xxx

Oh dear I am afraid I am really boring and stick to the same shades; dark brown and deep red. I like my dark colours and don't really bother with all these trendy shades like bright blue or black. I hate black nail varnish I think it looks very vampirish. Also as I get my nails done at a salon I just use their products. One time I took my precious Essie to a salon and forgot it there. KMT.
i do love my nail polishes but i can't keep up with the maintenance of it all- boring!
the whole chippped nails, waiting for the varnish to dry, re-applying the colour…
plus i think it damages my nails when i am constantly applying varnish to them, no???

I wasn't into polishes much until a couple of months ago… being 8 months pregnant with nothing but time on your hands meant I either painted my nails loads or went stir crazy.
I don't really care about the 'latest' shades and collections… I just wear what I want, when I want.

Nice collection you have there. I like how you have a good assortment of shades from the crazy bright to the subtle neutrals. I also embrace the spectrum and have been collecting for a couple of years.
Oh, and nail polish actually never goes bad. When it separates, you just have to shake it (but make sure you wait a few days before applying it after you shake it. If you apply it right after you shake it, you could get a nasty bubbly manicure.)
If the polish is too thick, you just need to add a few drops of nail polish thinner (not nail polish remover) and the formula will apply like new again.
So pretty much nail polish is a solid investment that won't depreciate! So go buy more…hehe… 🙂
