Giveaway: Win a Model Mirror!

In case you didn’t know, Model Mirrors have now launched in House of Fraser. I’m sure a few of you saw these featured and raved about by the Chapman sisters (aka Pixiwoo) on their You Tube channel a few months ago, that’s where I first heard of the brand.

So what’s a Model Mirror?
 
This latest must-have accessory, features eight battery-powered LEDs which emit a bright flattering light. Simply turn it on with the push of a button and enjoy a dressing room style spotlight in the palm of your hand. The lit side of the mirror comes with 2x magnification and each Model Mirror also comes complete with gift box and pouch to protect and clean the mirror too.

The four designs pictured above are Lush Leopard (£19), Scent from Above (£19), Good as Gold (£22), and Jack (£19) and are available exclusively to the House of Fraser Apothecary – however they can also be found on the official Model Mirror website too.

If you want my honest opinion, I think they’re overpriced for what they are and I wasn’t terribly keen on the design I chose once I saw it in person. The LEDs are reasonably powerful though, and it’d be handy for a quick touch up if you’re on your way out in the evening and in bad lighting. The battery is easy to replace, taking a 23A 12V battery.

Having read the feedback from past blog posts on this range, I can see there are a lot of you who’d like to try one out for yourself, so rather than have mine sit in its box gathering dust, I’d like to offer it to one of my loyal readers instead.
