The Illamasqua ‘takeover’ continues with the release of new metallic loose powders named Powdered Metals. Created as a result of an impromptu mix of some of their popular products whilst on the Sirens collection photo shoot – this was the end result.

Descriptions taken directly from the Illamasqua blog:Erzule – Voodoo Goddess of Beauty – Golden bronze with a brown undertone (great for olive and black skintones)
Thalia – Greek Goddess of Poetry – Warm bronze with a gold undertone (looks beautiful on medium skintones)
Bebhionn – Irish Goddess of Pleasure – Light bronze with a pink undertone (beautiful on pale skin)
These sound similar to MAC Beauty Loose Powders/ Iridescent powder but I’m still curious to see them IRL as the word ‘metallic’ has caught my attention. I’ll most certainly be testing out Erzule and Thalia.
I LOVE Solstice and am so glad I have it in my collection as it’s one of the few unique products that I own within my make up stash. I wasn’t impressed with the Illamasqua eyeshadows when I swatched them so hopefully the brand can redeem itself in my eyes with this product as I’m a sucker for cheek products.
Release date is July 13th (though Selfridges in Manchester will have their launch next week) – same day as Colour Craft. HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!!!!

I was sent Erzule and i like it.. im not sure its such a must have product to have. It kind of dissappears on my skin after a while. I think the regular pigments are more strong!
@ Tali – Thanks for the heads up. I'll check it out in person as I'll be in Central London for Colour Craft so will pass by the Illamasqua counter and do a swatch. I saw Bubblegarm's swatch and I'm not as excited as I was before about them.
