Product Faves from QVC

This year QVC UK, Britain’s most popular shopping channel celebrates 20 years on the big screen. With its award-winning 24-7 customer service, 30 day money back guarantee and much loved daily TSV (Today’s Special Value – every day from 12am they offer one item at an incredibly low price for 24 hours only), the home shopping channel has amassed a loyal fan base who keep coming back for more from the wide range of beauty brands the channel is home to.

QVC stocks many products which I’ve tried and tested over the years, and here are just three of my personal faves:

Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate – £40.56 (28ml)

I love a good facial oil and one of my firm favourites is this offering from Liz Earle. Suitable for all skin types, Superskin Concentrate is an intense, aromatic blend of 100% pure plant oils. The idea night-time treatment, it helps to soften dry or mature skin and also balance combination or oily skin. I use this after cleansing and toning and my skin loves it. I massage it in and my skin looks so fresh and well rested in the morning . Sometimes I’ll even use a moisturiser over it if my skin is feeling particularly parched and the combo doesn’t weigh my skin done. You don’t need a lot of product as the oil is rich and will hydrate your skin beautifully. Despite being an oil, I don’t find this as greasy to the touch as other oils I own, once applied to my skin. It really is a delight to use.

Phillip Kingsley Moisture Extreme Shampoo & Conditioner – £26 (200ml each)

Specially formulated for all variations of ethnically textured hair, including both relaxed and synthetic – this duo works wonders on my barnet! I’ve featured this range before, but such is my love for it, that it deserves a special mention. My hair feels ridiculously soft after I use this duo, and it really does enhance it with immense moisture! Blowdrying my natural hair is a piece of cake and doesn’t require much detangling after I’ve washed it.  Not as cheap as some of my other shampoos and conditioners, but that’s where the beauty of QVC’s 30 day return policy comes in, should you decide you want to try these out for yourself. I guarantee you won’t send them back though!
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil Duo x 2 – £29.50  (250ml)

Who doesn’t love pampering themselves in the shower? I love trying out new shower products and was impressed with this offering from L’Occitane when I first tried it a few months ago at Christmas. Contact with water transforms this marzipan scented oil into a luxurious shower creme. It also has the ability to double up as a shaving oil – which I’ve put to the test on those annoying days when I realise I’ve left my shaving foam in the bedroom. It’s simple to use, and doesn’t create a mess despite it being an oil. Personally I think the popularity of shower oils are on the rise and you can’t go wrong starting off with this one if you’re a newbie to this kind of product. The scent, isn’t overbearingly ‘nutty’, and as I mentioned is reminiscent to that of marzipan. It also doesn’t left a greasy film behind, just moisturised and yummy smelling skin as a memento of your usage.

Other skincare, haircare and beauty brands which can be found on QVC are Bobbi Brown, Emma Hardie, OPI, bareMinerals, Elemis and Origins. To view the full list of brands available, click here.
