Inspiration for this collection comes from the rich shades found in Indian spice markets.
Here I am sporting Amkoor – a vibrant, egg yolk like, mustardy rich yellow (it’s NOT neon), which is surprisingly far more flattering than I imagined a yellow polish could be. I purposefully chose Amkoor as I find yellow polish quite difficult to pull off and this shade is the best I’ve seen by far.
The formula is quite thick, so thin coats are required and opacity is reached with two coats – one coat leaves a very streaky finish.
I’m now on day 2 of wear but unfortunately I’ve already suffered chips to one nail (not pictured) despite wearing both base and top coat. Annoying. Nevertheless I still love the colour. I couldn’t capture the exact shade of yellow with my camera (don’t ask me how on earth to use the settings on that thing), so I’ve added an image of an egge yolk to get my point across!

I am in love with the Amkoor shade, but I was bummed when you mentioned the chipping. :sighs:
@Kelly – Yeah, I had a 'WTF' moment when I stepped out of the shower! Swatch it on counter, it's such a cool yellow and will look fab with a tan!
