I tend to shy away from red nail polishes. I don’t feel many suit me, I guess I’ve just been looking at the wrong shades – pillar box reds are out, and crimson and blood reds are in.
I recently picked up Revlon Forbidden, which has their Top Speed formula and features in Revlon’s current Shanghai collection and I love it.
Perfect to wear all year round, it oozes sophistication and I haven’t stopped admiring my nails since applying it yesterday. It’s definitely a winner. Two coats and a top coat had given me shiny nails to play with for the next few days. One thing though, despite it being flogged as ‘Top Speed’, I can’t say I noticed a marked difference in its drying time, but don’t let that deter you from trying it for yourself. I currently have OPI Lincoln Park After Dark on my toes, but this is going on my tootsies next.

Beautiful color but I have trouble making Revlon Top Speed last longer than a day. What top coat are you using?
Orly Polishield 3-in-1 Top Coat – fan stuff. Day 3 and still no chips 🙂
