When I think of The Sanctuary, I tend to focus on the vast range of bath and skincare products that line the shelves in Boots or it’s popular day spa in Central London.
The Sanctuary Spa, the UK’s number one ladies day spa has been going strong in Covent Garden for over 30 years and performs a staggering 28,000 facials on its visitors per year. The powers that be have now decided to make the very products that make their facial treatments so popular and effective, more accessible for their loyal fans and will be launching a results-led skincare range that addresses women’s main skincare concerns.
The new range is paraben free, suitable for pregnant women and has been dermatologically tested too.
The new Skincare Spa Perfect Facials range is divided into three distinct, colour coded, product ranges and can be purchased individually or as a ‘Facial in a Box’ set which come with simple, easy to follow instructions allowing you to deliver the same results in the comfort of your own home. They also double up as a lovely gift.

I visited the spa on Tuesday evening and was treated to a personalised Sanctuary Spa Prescription Facial, during which a combination of the products from the new skincare range were used. My skin felt amazingly smooth and revitalised – not to mention buttery soft too.
I was thoroughly impressed with both the passion and professionalism my therapist displayed throughout the treatment. I can’t remember the last time I had a facial but she’s spurre dme on to treat myself to them on a regular basis now. Stand out products which were used on my skin were the Therapist’s Secret Facial Oil (£16.99/30ml), Radiance Exfoliator (£9.99/100ml) and the 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask (£9.99/100ml) which distinctively reminded me of my beloved MAC Volcanic Thermal Mask.
New spa locations will also be opening soon in Cambridge, Richmond and Bristol – so if you’re nearby keep an eye out for those.

I use to get a lot of The Sanctuary bath items for christmas when I was younger and it's still one of my luxury must have products.

I just had an assessment at Covent Garden Sanctuary Spa for a beauty therapist job at the Bristol spa thats opening in september. We all got a free 'brightening facial in a box' kit. I haven't used it yet because my skin has starting getting really bad and i dont want this to irritate it. Maybe when it's calmed down though, i will try some!
