Unlocking the Vault: MAC Gingerly

When I want to add a little warmth on my cheeks but still want a fairly neutral cheek, I sometimes reach for MAC Gingerly. A perm addition to the MAC line, this blush has a sheertone finish and is described on the website as a ‘Capri Bronze’. It doesn’t look bronze in the slightest to me though. I’m not sure quite how to describe it, it shows up quite ‘peachy’ on my skin tone.

It has a tendency to look ashy if too much is applied, so be sure to blend it properly. If you want to give it a little oomph, I think this looks pretty with a gold highlighter on top to brighten it up, but if truth be told if I were to lose this tomorrow, I wouldn’t shed a tear. NARS Gina blusher on the other hand …!!!

I have this, use it almost daily! Very natural, it's softer then most bronzers I find, it doesn't give a 'bronzer' look just a natural healthy sheen x

Thank you for all your lovely comments. You're FAR too kind!! 😉

@Amelia – That's something I'll definitely look into doing soon. I'm terrible at doing lip swatches, they take so long to do, trying to get the right angel, etc
If it's something you'll find helpful, then I'll do it soon x
