I haven’t written a mascara review in forever!
In fact I think my last mascara review may have been Benefit’s They’re Real, which I still love and use today. All my usual mascara faves have either finished or dried out and as I rummaging around recently, I came across this mini sample of Benefit’s Roller Lash mascara.
I had high hopes for this, given that I love They’re Real so much. Its eye-opening Hook ‘n’ Roll brush grabs, separates, lifts and curls, while the instant curve-setting formula holds for up to 12 hours. It also contains pro-vitamin B5 and serin, ingredients both known for their lash-conditioning benefits.

I love how this keeps my eyelashes curled all day. It opens my (small) eyes up , and it doesn’t smudge or crumble as the hours pass by. I can easily apply two coats without my lashes feeling crispy or looking spidery. I like how the rubber wand and the positioning of the bristles allow each lash to be evenly coated. I do find I have to be careful when coating my lower lashes but it doesn’t clump them and that’s what I try and avoid. It’s also a dream to remove too, no vigorous rubbing back and forth needed. My eye make up remover of choice at the moment is Clinique’s Take Off The Day.

Now as much as I rate this, I just can’t being myself to fork out on a full sized tube at the moment. I’ve become far more ‘stingy’ when it comes to spending my money on mascara now. Maybe that’s a good thing though, it’ll save me quite a lot of money in the long run! Any friends of family reading, feel free to teat me to this though as my birthday’s a mere four weeks away!
Finally, a word of warning, I’d strongly advise against buying a “bargain” tube of Roller Lash off eBay for £5.99, chances are it’ll be fake, as a lot of the negative feedback that eBay sellers have received recently, confirms.
Anyway, those are my thoughts on Benefit’s Roller Lash which wholeheartedly deserves a shout out. Which mascaras are you loving at the moment?
How much is it? £19.50
Where can I buy it from? Debenhams, QVC, Feelunique, Boots.com
