I can’t even remember how I found out Bobbi Brown has re-released their popular highlighting powder. I think it was from a press release. Anyway, I’m forever on the hunt for “glowy” products. Items that will make my skin look vibrant and healthy once applied, so I was adamant that I neeeded to check this out for myself.
Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder is available in two shades, Pink Glow and Bronze Glow. This time round does not come in the limited edition packaging it adorned during its last release in 2014. The packaging is that of the standard Bobbi Brown casing – black, sleek and in mirrored compact form. I recently purchased the latter after much Googling of swatches and annoyingly in person, it swatched a little lighter than online photos had me believe.
Ideal for medium and dark skin tones, it’s butter soft texture blends seamlessly into the skin and can be used alone or on top of blusher or bronzer. Ideally I would have preferred it if it were a tad darker, but that’s down to personal preference. I can still wear it on my MAC NC50 skin tone with no problems but it’s not as “bronze” as I had expected it to be.
It’s easy to wear day or night, adding a subtle glow or dramatic highlight, depending on what look you’re aiming for. Personally I prefer to wear this over blush and warm it up a little more with my blush shade of choice. It makes a nice addition to the stash but I’m still on the hunt for ‘the one’.

I love this highlighter for the days I want a little extra as it’s a little sparklier than my BECCA “topaz” SSP. It looks nice on your skin and you’ve inspired me to hunt mine down since I haven’t seen it for months :-/
