ELLE, the world’s largest fashion mag has teamed up with Mavala, to create a special Limited Edition nail polish to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
Continuing the greige polish trend, this cream minky grey has a slight purple undertone which shows up in natural light. It’s a pretty shade, but I can’t help but think I’ve seen these type of shades all too often before. Two coats initially appeared to give enough coverage but after washing the dishes a few times, I think I could have done with a third coat as I can see the start of minute tip wear occurring 2 days after applying it.
Mavala ELLE launched exclusively at John Lewis stores on 1st September 2010, and priced at just £3.95 you can’t complain!
The colour looks lovely on you, I hadn't really noticed the purple undertone when I've seen this on other people.

now, i am not a great fan of creme finish polishes but this is such perfectly applied, omg, this is gorgeous. this mavala and elle collaboration is a roaring success xx
