Whilst at the recent Space NK summer press day, I was introduced to Prismolgie – a collection of products, curated by colour. Created with one of the UK’s leading beauty scientists, the natural collection is based on colour and aromatherapy therapy and has been designed to uplift, enhance and inspire.
Six colours reflect different emotions, and compliment varying scents as follows:
White Beginning – Clarity and calmness (honey floral and neroli infused)
Yellow Day – for confidence and a fresh start to the day (citrus zest with bergamot)
Red Hour – for when you’re feeling energised and raring to go (warm bodied with cedar wood)
Green Epoch – for a balanced mind and serenity (grassy vetiver with sweet grapefruit)
Pink O’Clock – For compassion and tenderness (sensual rose)
Indigo Interlude – For relaxation and calm (oud and warm amber)
Of the samples received, my favourite is surprisingly the foot cream. The body scrub, whilst rich in texture and lather-friendly, I found too heady scent-wise for me. The cedarwood although ‘warming’, was a little too masculine for my liking and I prefer something a bit lighter in the shower. I love the smell of the foot cream and the mysterious scent of oud. It’s very sensual and relaxing. I actually recall the Indigo Interlude massage candle being my favourite product of all at the press day, so I shouldn’t really be that surprised that I liked the foot cream. The body cream said to boost collagen and increase elasticty has a neroli infused scent, which was pleasant. I’d be likely to use this after a shower in the evening. It absorbed well and left my skin feeling silky.
