NYX cosmetics have been celebrating their 10 year anniversary with a 50% off sale on all their products since May 1st.
Naturally I placed an order on May 1st and it arrived 2 days ago (I don’t think I’ll ever get to grips with how long standard shipping takes stateside). Ladies, be thankful for Royal Mail and just how small Blighty is, in comparison to the United States!
Anyhoo, I mainly ordered lip pencils and lipglosses as I’m in dire need of updating my lip pencil stash. I’m really pleased with my choices and my hours of trawling through page after page of NYX swatches found through Google paid off!
NYX quality is great for the price you pay. The lipglosses I bought are really pigmented and smooth to apply and the lip pencils don’t drag. I’m surprised they haven’t hiked their prices up more than past increases, since their popularity has soared over the past couple of years.
I placed another order with Cherry Culture last night who are also selling their NYX stock at half price to tie in with the NYX anniversary promotion. This order will definately be arriving long after I’ve landed back in London but I spied that they were offering free delivery so it was too good to pass by. I’ll get my boyf to post it over to me when it arrives though.
I hope there’s no problem with the order as I’ve heard a few horror stories regrading CC’s customer service. However I’ve ordered from them in the past with no probems, so fingers crossed.
If any of you UK chicks have friends or family stateside then I think placing an order to be delivered to them, which they can then send onto you is so worthwhile. I’ve bought so much for so little!! I love bargains!!
