The Nail Files: OPI Barefoot in Barcelona

My colleague and I have what has fast become known as ‘Beauty Corner’ at work. Combined, our desks are lined with a plethora of nail polishes, hand creams, perfumes and lipglosses and it was during one of our frequent non-work related chats that she presented me with OPI Barefoot in Barcelona.

When applied it looks like a dark salmon pink with a drop of brown in it. I like this polish a lot, it’s a nice alternative to standard (boring) lighter nude polishes available and it doesn’t look too ruddy against my skintone, which I was a little apprehensive about. Two coats gave an opaque finish and I hope it lasts as well as OPI polishes usually do on my nails.

See? There are benefits to abandoning my workload, I would never have discovered this otherwise!

    Do you have OPI 'Dulce de Leche'? I'd like to see how they compare as they look very similar. But the BIB looks beautiful on you!

    This certainly is a nice alternative to the boring nude. I'm particularly drawn to these types of shades. It looks very nice on you. Thanks for the swatches.

    @Carlito86 – It's part of the 'Spanish Collection', I think.

    @Millmolimac – You'll be surprised. It suits really pale skin too from the swatches I've seen.

    @Dye-A-Graham – Nope, I don't. Sorry!

    @Kristie – Thanks Kristie
