I often like to unwind by having a candle burning in the background as I read or watch TV and I recently finally caved in and treated myself to a large jar Yankee Candle. Yes, I know I’m late to the party, but it’s taken me months to actually decide which scent to buy – I kid you not.
I’ve always liked coconut scented products and a colleague recommended Black Coconut one day, when we were having a natter about Yankee Candle, instead of doing our work!
Upon its arrival, I wasn’t disappointed, Black Coconut smells divine and is a must for all coconut fans. Its scent is warm and inviting and bears no resemblence to the synthetic, almost plasticy smell some candles can give off when trying to replicate a popular scent. What I need now though is a long candle lighter as I’ll only be able to light the top of the jar with an ordinary lighter, for so long.
Priced £19.99, the large sized jar (it also comes in small and medium) lasts for hours, 110-150 hours to be precise, making it great value in comparison to smaller candles from other brands which are double the price!
Speaking of price, I actually bought this on Ebay from this seller who sells genuine Yankee Candle products and the large jars for £15.99 with free delivery, instead of the RRP of £19.99. So go on, knock yourself out. You’re welcome!!
