Not long to go now ...

'Ello, 'ello, 'ello!  My PC drama is almost over for good (thanks for the suggestions on how to fix it, but it really is on its last legs. It's lasted a good 8 years, so I can't complain) as I have a new laptop on the way and blogging as I know it, should hopefully resume back to normal by the weekend.

I have so much to write about (and I'm not talking about the latest Sleek palette or MAC Gaga lipstick either) and I can finally catch up on the 200+ blogs I follow! I haven't been able to reply to your comments on my posts in as much detail as I usually do either, which has irritated me, but my hands were tied.

Hello to the new followers I've gained! Thanks for the love!!

MAC Too Fabulous

I had a look at MAC Too Fabulous the other day and personally thought it blew Spring Colour Forecast out of the water. The new Cremesheen lipgloss shades have now been introduced as permanent so I can take my time with those and check out the new shades at my leisure. I did however, ooh and ahh at the new mineralize blushes that have been released (six in total).

Gorgeous promo image!
I chose Two Virtues and Chic Couple to come home with me.  Two Virtues looks very similar to Azalea Blossom on my hand, with the exception of the shimmer in it. It shows up as a cool tone frosty medium pink, with violet purple. The purple doesn't show up as as intense as I'd like, but when swirled together it's bea-yoot-iful on my NC50 skintone.

My justification for its purchase is that I can use Two Virtues on top of Azalea Blossom to make it even better! Sometimes I surprise myself with my rational thinking! Chic Couple is a peachy copper with neutral brown and when swirled together shows up as a bronzey brown with coral undertones and gold shimmer. Love it!

MAC have also released 6 new lipliner shades. Now I'm don't really tend to splash out on lipliners unless it's a pretty nice shade, as I think you can get perfectly good ones from cheaper lines and I cleaned up on the NYX ones last year during their anniversary 50% off sale so have loads. However, on this occasion I did pick up Mouth Off as I've been after a soft coral liner for the longest time and have been unable to find one. Obviously there were a number of woman in London who felt as I did, as this particular shade was running very low on stock at the time of purchase in the Pro store.

Sorry, but I was unable to do any swatches as my PC is still crashing every 2 mins and I got so pissed off, I lost all patience trying to upload the pics. There are more than enough swatches on the net if you pop the shade names into Google though. Hopefully I should be getting a new laptop next weekend. I have so many posts sitting in my drafts, it's ridic!!

What are your thoughts on Too Fabulous and what did you buy (if anything)?

EOTD: Club Tropicana

So when I wore Ripe Peach on Saturday, the blue skies and beaming sunshine (although it was still quite cold), inspired me to do something different with my eye make up for a change. I'm not usually one for wearing multiple colours on my eyes but that's exactly what I ended up doing!

MAC Spring Colour Forecast + Ombre Blush swatches

So finally, MAC Spring Colour Forecast is here in the UK, and I wasn't particularly bowled over when I went to view it on Thursday. I came away with two of the Ombre blushes but nothing else caught my eye from the collection. For those building up your stash, I'm sure you may find it more appealing but I have dupes of so many of the items, that anything else I had bought, would have been a waste of money.

When I swatched Ripe Peach instore, I made sure I went outside to see how it looked in natural daylight and I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a matte peach, it has a smoother finish and a subtle gold shimmer to it.

Do NOT get me started ...Chanel temporary tattoos

So they're finally here. Chanel's temporary tattoos ...and hell will freeze over before you catch me wearing them.

Sorry, I'm not a fan. I'm not that desperate to own a bit of Chanel that I'd waste £49 on these ill drawn monstrosities. I'd rather put the money towards a Chanel 2.55.

If I see anybody in London wearing these, chances are I'll assume you got them from the bargain bucket in Claires Accessories, so any efforts to be noticed would have been wasted. I can already visualise counterfeit listings popping up all Ebay by the time I've finished typing this post.

Coco Chanel must be turning in her grave. Temporary stick on tats do not spell out couture to me. In fact I think they look rather tacky and will have you labelled as a fashion victim as opposed to being "on trend".

Ok, so they worked on the catwalk, but if you ask me they should have been left there. Oh and what's this I hear about one of the tattoos being a pair of dangly earrings??! Just where exactly are you supposed to stick that one?!

Don't bother to ask me any questions about them as I don't know, don't care and certainly won't WEAR!

So come on, I know you have something to say! What do you think? Do you rate 'em or hate 'em? Don't worry if you've *shudder*  bought them or think they're "amazing", I'll still publish your comment ;-)
