With the weather warming up, it’s the ideal time to scour the latest summer clothing collections for the little ones. I love shopping for Cassius and find it near on impossible to leave a shop or check out online with just one item. His wardrobe is hands down better than mine!

I recently had the opportunity to check out Boots Mini Club Spring/Summer collection at their Elephant’s Picnic. I bought a couple of bits from Mini Club last summer actually –  swimwear and a straw hat! I was pleased with both the extensive choice available and the quality (both will still fit Cass this summer), so I was curious to see what the stand out pieces in the new collection were.

Lots of unisex newborn pieces if you’re keeping your little bundle of joy a surprise or aren’t keen on gender-specific colourways. All clothing is 100% cotton and has nickel-free poppers so not to irritate sensitive skin.

Pretty florals, quirky patterns and nautical faves are popular this season.

Bored of plain white bodysuits? Mini Club has a range of super-bright summery alternatives for your little ones.

I can’t wait until it really warms up and I can take Cassius to a splash park again. He loved it last Summer and looked the part in his Mini Club Thomas the Tank Engine all-in-one bathing suit. With a sun protection factor of 40, this was a great practical option for water play. Cass suffers from eczema and this protected his delicate skin without interfering in   Thankfully it still fits and he’s still obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine!
