I found myself watching an old episode of The Great British Bake Off the other day, and was totally inspired to ‘get my bake on’. I found myself browsing The Works, a discount book store, home to a great range of baking books for a novice like myself and the more experienced baker too.
A reknown family friendly discount retailer, The Works opened its first store in 1981 and now has a chain of 300 stores all across the United Kingdom. Currently Britain’s leading discount book store, you can choose to have your order delivered free, or if more convenient select the click and collect method.
I browsed further and came across a huge range of books covering differing topics as well as as great value discount gifts, art, craft, hobbies, toys and stationery. I’m currently revising to (finally) take my driving theory test, so noticing that the AA Learn to Drive and The Complete Theory Test Bundle is currently on sale for just £10.99 is extremely helpful.
Check out the section of Father’s Day gifts available. Dads are notoriously difficult to buy for (mine certainly is) and there’s a wide selection of choice available ranging from sporting autobiographies to novelty mugs.
If you have kids, this store will go down a treat as there are books, games and toys to suit all ages at their fingertips. Lots of stationary for both kids and adults too.
The Works holds so many products under one roof, it’ll be hard to walk out empty-handed.
