NEW! Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pore & Shine Range

I’ve mentioned before how much I like Neutrogena Visibly Clear skincare. I find it both affordable and effective and it’s usually the first brand to roll off my tongue when I’m asked for affordable skincare recommendations.

I was interested to hear that they’re launching a new range which seeks to tackle two issues in one – enlarged pores and shiny skin. The range was created in response to customer feedback, so has no doubt made a few fans happy. The range is small, there are just two products at the moment – a face wash and face scrub.

My oily/combo/sensitive (jeez, it’s a mess!) skin is prone to shine by lunch time, particularly  if I don’t use a primer or the weather’s warm, so I’m all for any products which will help combat the dreaded ‘oil slick’ look which creeps up onto my t-zone.

I like the scent of these – tangerine and lime anyone? They smell fruity and refreshing. The gel face wash lathers up upon contact with water and the scrub contains small granules, I personally don’t find them to be abrasive on contact with my skin. I get confused with pores, I don’t think mine are huge so I haven’t noticed a distinct difference with those as yet but I have found that I’ve required fewer touch ups since I’ve started to use these products, so the mattifying effect is working, which is great. I was a bit worried that I’d find the range drying but luckily it hasn’t had that side-effect at all.
