I’ll be honest, when I meet someone of a similar age to myself, I always take a curious interest in how their skin compares to my own – particularly in the way of sun damage and wrinkles around the eyes. I’m 34 now and quite pleased that my eyes show minimal signs of ageing. I’ve been mostly using the same eye cream for almost four years now. Yes, I’m tried a couple of others in-between but always end up reverting back to this product.

In short, I think this cream has definitely contributed to keeping my eye area free from visible ageing. It absorbs easily and doesn’t feel heavy on the eyes, nor does it cause any irritation. My eye area looks firm and the skin around them feels smooth. I like the texture of the cream, which I think is more effective than a gel product would be.
I also really like the slim tube packaging, I hate dipping my fingers in pots of product. In general, I think it’s grossly unhygienic and the thin nozzle allows you to control how much product you distribute onto your fingertip. A very small amount goes a long way, and as a result, I’ve found a tube lasts me for months – a year even! I’ve just finished my third tube, so you can get an idea of how far the 30ml tube actually stretches – which is just as well considering the price of it.
It’s not cheap, retailing for a hefty £55 and I’ve become a bit more stringent in my frivolous spending of late (having kids has that effect), so eBay and I are currently the best of friends and this is where my fourth tube shall be acquired from.
I believe the packaging has been changed recently, as when I Google it, it’s not the same design as the tubes I’ve used up in recent years that appears on websites. I also think the formula may have been altered slightly too. Paula Choice’s Beautypedia (love that site!) suggests that the original formula (the one I’ve been using) was better, so based on that, I’ll be seeking it out on eBay (I did spot it on Feelunique.com though), although reviews on the Space NK site speak favourably of the new look product – so who knows.
