NICKI MINAJ TO RELEASE TWO NEW LIPSTICKS WITH M.A.C.

I’ve always been a fan of Nicki Minaj’s softer make up looks (although kudos where due, she rocks a mean neon look!), so the news that she is launching two nude lippies with M.A.C next month got me a little excited. This isn’t Nicki’s first collaboration with MA.C, she fronted the Viva Glam campaign, alongside Latino crooner, Ricky Martin back in 2012 and again in 2013.

Guess who’s back with M·A·C? Cant wait to reveal this exciting news I’m working on for 2018!!! It’s a first of its kind partnership for me and the OG M·A·C. The mention of nudes, for some reason made me cast my mind back to the MAC N Collection (now that’s what you call a throwback!) which was the ultimate collection for nude lovers, and after doing a bit of digging I came across this image which shows the two new shades Nicki has worked with MA.C to develop: Nicki’s Nude, a soft corally pink, and The Pinkprint, a mid-tone creamy pink.

At first glance the swatches don’t bowl me over as they don’t look particulalry complimentary for my skintone. However I presume Nicki is wearing one of them in the promo images and also wouldn’t put her name to something that she couldn’t wear herself, so I’m hopeful!

There’ll be also be a bunch of other nude lipsticks and lipglasses in the collection too.

Due for release on 1st September (instore) and online on 21st September. I’m also curious to see what the grand reveal is that she speaks of which we’ll find out about, next year.
