Sleek MakeUp Oh So Special Palette + Swatches

Another day, another Sleek palette! (I’m sure I’ve used this line on more than one occasion).

Hot on the heels of the Monaco eye shadow palette which was released three weeks ago, Sleek MakeUp have launched the Oh So Special palette.

Oh So Special is a step up from your average nude palette and combines peachy nudes with sophisticated browns and purples for a classy alternative to your eye make up. Perfect for day time, this palette with allow you to create sultry eyes for night too.

I can wear most of the twelve shades comfortably. I really like Celebrate, a deep metallic blackened purple, Glitz, a gunmetal grey with the teeniest hint of blue and matte browns Boxed and Wrap Up. I’m not so keen on the peachy tones, but purely because they aren’t colours that I tend to wear on my eyes. I’d wear Gateau though, which is a duochrome pinky gold.

I think this palette will sell pretty well. It’s fresh, feminine, yet still enables you to create a variety of looks.  Priced £6.49, it’s already out in Superdrug.

By the way, I read on Sleek MakeUp’s Twitter timeline that another nude palette is due out in August. Great news for neutral e/s lovers!

What are your thoughts on the latest Sleek Palette?

    Thanks for the swatches. I'm glad to see that shadows are highly pigmented and are not “ashey” on darker skin, as so many are.

    @Silver Lisp – Thanks!

    @Ava – You're welcome. The quality is good for what you pay for, so no complaints (even though I got this sent to me).
